About us

Our History

Since the 1930s the Shandon Residents’ Association (SRA) has been representing the residents in the Shandon area (Shandon Park, Shandon Road, Shandon Drive and Shandon Crescent) in Phibsborough, Dublin. Our aim is to improve the area by working closely with Dublin City Council (DCC), addressing various issues such as environmental enhancement & improved road safety.  Furthermore, our goal is to increase the sense of belonging to a community by organizing social events such as the annual summer street party, Christmas carols, street clean ups, and other events as appropriate.

Membership and AGM

The running of the Association is funded through the membership subscription of €10 per annum per household. Every Shandon resident is entitled to become a member of the SRA. We encourage you to get involved with your Residents’ Association and have your say!

The SRA Committee meets once a month throughout the year. We hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) which is open to all members of the community.

If you wish to contribute your skills and experience to support the Association, either as a committee member or to help with specific campaigns, please email us.
